Furnishing

To combine various materials within article of wrought iron gives most often beautiful contrasts. Within furnishing and adornment it gives quantities of challenges for a blacksmith.

More common works in article of wrought iron are gates and railing and a wine holder set in the wine cellar consults to the more exceptional work in exclusive housings. However this can become very beautiful done together with the artist blacksmith.

Candlesticks holding candles is what most people associates with article of wrought iron in Scandinavia, but a more beautiful and unique use is of course a personally formulated electrical lamp in hand hammered irons, stainless steels and burnished brass. Beautiful tables in oak becomes correct and a rustic furniture with a chassis in coarse hammered irons.

Article of wrought iron can be given one beautiful lustre through burned oil and wax only, or so gets its lustre from burnished graphite. Outdoors other treatment will be necessary.
