The most important tools to a blacksmith are the forge, the anvil, the hammer and patience. In the blacksmith shop there is pliers, chisels, water buckets, gloves, leather covers etc. The forge and the anvil is most often placed darkly, then it’s easier to decide the iron's glow color. And from one that makes the decision if one can hammer the steel, harden it or temper.
